Work Based Learning Entry 3
In this work based learning session, I was looking further at my potential choices for University. I had previously been looking at Edge Hill University, and the Creative Writing course that it offered. I decided to put it down as one of my potential choices for university. I also began to look at another university, the De Monfort University in Leicester, which offered a course in Game Art Design that seemed very interesting to me. It was also relatively more in line with the Creative Media college course I am currently doing, and made a somewhat more logically step forward. However, I am not completely sure about it, and also I have concerns regarding the distance between where I live and the college, so I do not know wether I intend to go to this University as of yet.

Work Based Learning Entry 2
I was considering my potential choices of university during this Work Based Learning session. I made use of the UCAS search tool to search for universities based on the criteria of what courses they offered. I was originally searching for courses that had something to do with Creative Media, or more specifically, Games Design. One of the universities that offered something in this vein was Edge Hill University, but the course itself was not particularly appealing to me as it turned out to be much more focused on the technical side of game programming rather than the design aspect. Nonetheless, I decided to check the other undergraduate courses that the university offered, and found some of the courses quite interesting at first glance. One course I looked specifically at, despite being quite dissimilar to what I was originally looking for, was Creative Writing, which is something I do have an interest in, and the course itself seemed quite interesting to me as well, although I wasn't sure if I would actually want to do the course at university. However, the University of Edge Hill looked quite interesting to me, and I thought that it's location was a fairly good distance from where I lived; not too close and not too far, so I will definitely have to keep it in mind.

Work Based Learning Entry 1
Today I logged into my UCAS profile, in order to check that all the details that had been given were accurate and properly filled out. Everything seemed to be in order when I checked, although I was briefly concerned as I did not understand why my Occupational Background was established as “Care Worker” until I remembered that this was referring to the Occupational Background of one of my parents and not my own occupation.
When I had ascertained that my UCAS profile was in order, I began to look at potential universities and university courses I might consider taking in the future. My main criteria for my search was courses that were involving media, and the more specifically I was hoping to find courses focusing on video game or especially video game design related media subjects, as I would be interested in this as a university course.
I was unable to come to a conclusion about which university I wanted to go to. Or, by extension, which university course I would specifically be interested in doing. I have been considering a few universities, namely University of Leeds and University of York, as they are fairly close by and have courses that are close to what I am interested in doing at university, but I am not yet decided.
